There are five small-but-detailed models showing the stages of development from a caterpillar to a butterfly.

The material also includes laminated cards (photo card, label card and control card for each concept) for the egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, emerging butterfly and fully developed butterfly. There are no text cards with this set.
